Summary

Your data never leaves your device. MatTest processes all files and computations entirely within your web browser. No file content, test data, or personal information is sent to any server.

1. Data We Do NOT Collect

MatTest does not collect, store, or transmit:

Your uploaded files or their contents
Computed mechanical property results
Column mappings or specimen information you enter
Personal identification information
Usage analytics or tracking data (no analytics service is integrated)

2. How Files Are Processed

When you upload a file to MatTest, it is read using the browser's built-in File API and processed entirely by JavaScript code running on your device. The file contents exist only in memory and are discarded when you close or reload the page.

No network requests are made to external servers during file processing or analysis.

3. PDF & Excel Export

PDF reports and Excel workbooks are generated entirely in your browser using local JavaScript libraries. The generated files are downloaded directly to your device and are not uploaded to or stored on any server.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

MatTest does not use cookies or local storage to store personal data or tracking identifiers. Browser state (uploaded data, analysis results) is held only in memory and is lost when the page is closed.

5. Third-Party Libraries

MatTest uses open-source JavaScript libraries (Plotly.js, PapaParse, SheetJS, jsPDF, etc.) that run locally. These libraries do not make external network connections during analysis operations.

The application is served over HTTPS. Standard web server access logs may record your IP address and page request times, as is typical for any website.
